| Available ONLY in an online format, this course satisfies the 60 hours of education required to sit for the home inspector’s license exam.
After completing the required coursework and spending significant study time outside of class, students will be eligible to sit for the state home inspection licensing exam. Please note: To inspect new construction additional criteria is required. For more information on the requirements to become a home inspector, visit the Home Inspector Board website at www.mrec.state.ms.us. Click on “Mississippi Home Inspector Board”. Students with no contractor background are encouraged to purchase the “Principles of Home Inspection: Systems and Standards” textbook prior to registering for the course.
