Agency Law - (Satisfies 4 Hours of Agency Law CE)

Dates:  Friday, August 14th, 2020
Time:  9:00am - 1:00pm

Registration for all CE classes closes 48 hours prior to class.

Virtual Classroom with Instructor: Judy Glenn

About the Course:

Know the laws in your state regarding what agency is and what it is not. It is your responsibility as a real estate agent to know what's required of you and work diligently to perform within those constructs.

A true agency relationship, as designated by a written agency agreement, has certain additional duties legally required and for which the agent can be held liable if violated or not performed as required.

Is the consumer a client or customer? What are the required duties and disclosures? Since every real estate court case and every real estate commission disciplinary action concerns Agency, this is an essential class for every licensee.

Course Attendance Requirement:
You will need a device with a camera and a microphone. For clarity, we also advise you to have earphones. We must be able to see your face through your camera at all times in order to certify that you are present. Your instructor may call on you periodically so you must be present and attentive throughout the course.

There will also be monitors that are certifying that you are in the virtual classroom. You MUST REGISTER WITH YOUR NAME! This is an MREC requirement that we verify your name with photo. 12345, Hot Shot, iPhone, etc. will not allow us to give CE credit.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
A minimum number of students are required for any Mississippi REALTORS® Institute class to make. If the course is cancelled, you will be notified by e-mail. Refunds are not available after class has started.
